Check a HubSpot import file before upload.
ReadyRows checks common contact-import problems locally and exports a cleaner CSV without connecting to your HubSpot account.
What the fixer checks
HubSpot import files must have a header row, fewer than 1,000 columns and—when using Excel—one worksheet. File-size limits vary by subscription. For contacts, at least one of First name, Last name or Email is needed to create a record; Email or Record ID is especially useful when updating or avoiding duplicates.
Phone and checkbox formatting
For automatic phone formatting, HubSpot recommends an international number beginning with a plus sign and country code. Single-checkbox values can use True/Yes and False/No. ReadyRows safely normalizes recognizable variants and flags ambiguous values instead of guessing.
What ReadyRows does not know
Your custom property definitions, enumeration options and account-level validation rules live inside your HubSpot account. The fixer therefore treats those as mapping/review decisions rather than pretending it can validate account-specific options without access.
